This is the official 150 words that I have lodged with the VEC. It will be mailed out as part of an information booklet along with the ballot papers.

As a young adult, with a lifelong connection to Wodonga, I am concerned that we are unprepared for the environmental and economic challenges of the next four years. I want a council that tackles the current economic and environmental problems by involving everyone in the decision making process. Our council needs to plan to offset the effects of climate change on our city. We must secure our long term prosperity by planning to use our declining water resources more efficiently. If elected, I will support sustainable development, build democratic involvement, minimise debt, and plan for climate change. I am standing with Dennis Black as an endorsed candidate of the Australian Greens. I need your help in order to bring a vision of participatory democracy, social justice, and environmental awareness to Wodonga City Council.
